Jharkhand launches women’s premier league to nurture cricket talent
The four-team T20 tournament aims to provide competitive match exposure to women cricketers from across the state.
The Jharkhand State Cricket Association (JSCA) has announced the state’s under-23 men’s squad for the Col CK Nayudu Trophy 2025-26, a domestic tournament of the BCCI. The tournament will begin on October 16 in Jamshedpur.

According to a release issued by the JSCA, the selected players have been asked to report in Jamshedpur on October 4. The team will undergo a preparatory camp from October 5 to 12 at the Keenan Stadium.

Rajnadeep Singh has been named captain of the side, while Robin Minz will serve as vice-captain and wicketkeeper. The squad includes several young players expected to showcase their skills at this platform for future opportunities at state and national levels.

The announced squad is: Rajnadeep Singh (captain), Robin Minz (vice-captain/wicketkeeper), Mohammad Kaunen Quraishi, Shubh Sharma, Yashpi Bhagat (wicketkeeper), Nakul Kumar Yadav, Aryan Huda, Om Singh, Abhishek Yadav, Amit Kumar, Raunak Kumar, Mohammad Afsar, Bishesh Dutta, Hrithik Anand, Tanish Chaubey, Shamshad Ahmad (subject to fitness), and Satya Setu (subject to fitness).
JSCA secretary Saurabh Tiwary said the selection was carried out with complete transparency and based on performance. He expressed confidence that the under-23 side would deliver a strong performance in the upcoming tournament.
